We Built the DMS That Didn't Exist
When an EV OEM needed a system that could track battery warranties, motor serial numbers, and EV-subsidy program compliance across their dealer network — no existing DMS could do it. So we built DMSJoy.
From a real problem, to a real product
In 2024, an emerging EV manufacturer came to us needing a Dealer Management System. They were scaling from 10 to 50+ dealerships and their requirements were clear: track every battery serial number through multi-year warranties, manage motor and inverter identifiers separately from chassis numbers, automate government EV-subsidy claims with identity-verified buyer KYC at the point of sale, and give their head office real-time visibility across every dealership.
Every DMS they evaluated was designed for internal combustion engines. Engine number fields, not motor number fields. Fuel type dropdowns, not battery chemistry selectors. Paper warranty files, not SoH-aware digital claim workflows. The core data model was wrong, and no amount of customization could fix it without rebuilding the foundation. So we built DMSJoy — starting with EV, designed to absorb regional regulatory variation, and architected to scale from 5 dealers to 500 without re-platforming.
That first OEM was in India, but the problem isn't. Every market with an EV transition needs a DMS that treats batteries and motors as first-class entities, supports its own subsidy and registration flows, and stays accessible to mid-tier and emerging manufacturers — not just global incumbents with deep procurement budgets. DMSJoy is built for all of them.
